Five surfaces, cut to your kitchen
We carry the five surfaces people actually ask for. Each one behaves differently with heat, stains and knives, and George will tell you plainly which one suits the way you use your kitchen.
Tops are templated in your kitchen, not cut from a sketch, so the seams, overhangs and sink cutout fit the cabinets that are really there. Come to the showroom and put your hands on the slab samples first.
Quartz
Engineered, consistent and low upkeep. The everyday pick for a busy kitchen.
Quartzite
Natural stone with the look of marble and the hardness to handle heat.
Granite
Every slab has its own pattern, and it is tough.
Marble
The classic. It is softer than the others, so it suits people who like a patina.
Porcelain
Thin, heat and scratch resistant, with large slabs for a seamless island.

Countertops: common questions
Which countertop is best?
It depends on how you cook. Quartz is the easiest to live with, quartzite and granite handle heat well, marble develops a patina, and porcelain comes in big slabs for islands. George will walk you through it at the showroom.
Can you put new countertops on my existing cabinets?
Often, yes, if the boxes are level and in good shape. Send photos with the estimate form and George will tell you what he sees.
How do you measure for the stone?
We template in your kitchen once the cabinets are in place, rather than working from a drawing.
Who installs the countertops?
The same crew that sets the cabinets.
